Ingredients
  

For the Chicken
  • 2 pieces boneless chicken breast Protein source, cut into thin pieces
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Adds creamy texture and flavor
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs Provides crispiness
  • 1 tbsp flour Helps the coating adhere
  • 1 tsp garlic powder For flavor
  • 1 tsp onion powder For flavor
  • 1 tsp paprika For flavor
  • to taste salt For seasoning
For the Wraps
  • 4 pieces flour tortillas To wrap the ingredients

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Rinse the chicken breasts under cold water and pat dry. Cut into thin strips.
  2. Coat the chicken strips in flour, ensuring an even coating.
  3. In a bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs with spices for coating.
  4. Dip the chicken into beaten egg, then roll in the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Place the coated chicken aside to allow the coating to set.
Assembly
  1. Take a tortilla and place a piece of coated chicken in the center.
  2. Add a generous amount of shredded mozzarella on top.
  3. Fold the sides and roll the tortilla tightly to enclose the filling.
Cooking
  1. Preheat the air fryer to approximately 200°C (392°F).
  2. Spray the outside of the wraps lightly with cooking spray.
  3. Place the wraps in the air fryer basket ensuring they have space to cook evenly.
  4. Cook for about 10 minutes, flipping halfway through for even browning.
Serving
  1. Cut the wraps in half and serve warm, optionally with marinara or your preferred sauce.

Notes
